Caleta de Fuste

Caleta de Fuste, or El Castillo as it is now commonly known, constitutes a wonderful holiday destination and it is a wonderful resort that caters for both families and couples alike. Developed with children in mind, Caleta de Fuste offers plenty to do for the traveller, and with year round sunshine, has been a preferred holiday location for very many years.

Pubs and restaurants in Caleta come in great quantity and provide a wide range of cuisines from all throughout the world, some of which consist of Indian, Portuguese, Chinese, Mexican and obviously traditional Spanish tapas.

If you’ve young kids then Caleta de Fuste is loaded with things to do. There are a number of play parks and trampolines. Mini golf, archery, tennis and badminton can also be found. The nearby ‘Atlantico’ shopping centre (just a ten minute walk from Caleta) contains a cinema and bowling alley.
The beach front in Caleta de Fuste is likewise man-made and is a safe haven for kids to swim safely whilst mum and dad relax on the beach. The adjoining harbour offers a wide range of aquatic sports for everyone keeping all the family amused all day!

Caleta de Fuste also provides a massive amount of shops where you can obtain mementos of the island to take home to friends and relations.
Days out for your loved ones can be reserved easily from a variety of outlets in Caleta and some of the island excursions include the water park in Corralejo, zoo down in Jandia and days out to the nearby island of Lanzarote.

In general the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary islands and holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste is a must see for both couples and families and with temps reaching the high nineties in the summertime months you’re likely to go home from the Canary islands with a fantastic sun tan too!
