Agistri is located 45 minutes off the port of Piraeus which has a daily shuttle operating between the island and itself. On the other side of this journey is a beautiful island with unpolluted deep blue waters and lush pine trees. Between this natures treasure, there are plenty of venues that are worthy of being travelled for to this tiny island of Agistri.

Beaches:

The most popular beach on the island is the Skala beach. This is particularly due to its shallow waters which render it a safe destination for families with young kids as well as for people who are not familiar with swimming. It has several commercial services available; as there are sunbeds, umbrellas and food stalls dotted along to serve tourists. It is also overlooked by a big church and many tourists visit this during their travel. Other beaches may serve more specific purposes, like the nudist Halikadha beach which appeals to tourists who are in a separate class of their own. Agistri can thus fulfill the requirements of all types of tourists looking for a perfect vacation

Boat Trips to Surrounding Islands:

The small uninhabited islands around Agistri are also popular amongst tourists. These 4 islands are serviced by special boats that take interested tourists to Metopi, Kira, Spalathronisi and Darousa for snorkeling and other activities. Diving courses are also available for novices and to those with some experience.

Historical Sites:

The two chapels namely Agioi Pandes and Theodoroi are located in the middle of a heavy cover of beautiful pine trees. These are one of the oldest buildings standing on the island and visitors can learn more about the history of Agistri from these chapels than anywhere else. The Virgin Mary Church at Metochi is another spot tourists may be interested in, and are led up by a path of heavy trees. Several other historical churches are found on this island.
